Branson....
Made it on vacation! The kids traveled surprisingly well, I was super proud of them. Since we got to Branson we have done everything from shopping, boating, Silver Dollar City, and much much more. The kids love it! Chase wants to go in "grandma's car" everywhere and Wyatt wants to "go on Bapas big boat" :) They think it is super fun the grandma and grandpa are here with us and they get to see them all day. How cool for 2 year olds!

Chase is a little scared going fast on the water but he says he wants too...now Wyatt is not scared of anything and spends the whole time riding up front with the girls and "go fast." When we get to our destination we tie our boats off and float around in the water, listen to music, and everyone has their choice of drink. We spend most of the days on the water, in the sun, trying our best to get sun but not get burnt...lol...yea right like that happens. All we get is super sun burnt :) Oh Well!

We tie off the boats to trees in the water or to each other and swim around and float, play catch, and enjoy the water! We park right off the shore and go to the shore and play and we make shore lunches (which are grilled sandwiches) :)!

Our condo sits right on Lake Taneycomo, which is where Table Rock Lake drains into thru the dam. The water comes from the very bottom of Table Rock so it nevers warms up and stay about 50 degrees in the summer so when it is soo hot like it is down there it causes it too fog. Its pretty neat...this is the area where Ryan normally fly fishes.

Silver Dollar City...
So Wednesday me and my mom took the kids to Silver Dollar City. It was so hot so we did what they call Moonlight Madness and we went to the park from 5 to 10p to try and beat the heat. The kids absolutely love it and still talk about it. We rode rides in circles until I was going to throw up cause my mom wouldnt ride them in circles :) of course. Wyatt loved everything and doesnt get scared, even rode the roller coaster with his arms up the whole time but Chase again got scared easily by everything especially their version of the Raging River lol...you will see in the pics! Had a blast even though he gets scared! We also won some stuffed animals and played in the water area. What a blast!

Had a wonderful time! We Love Branson!

We have a very busy summer this year. It started with the boys turning 2 in May. We had a bbq and they got way too many things.

We have also been going to the pools, beach, parks, and out on the lake quite a bit. We spent a day at Adventureland and the boys enjoyed it so much we cant even drive thru Altoona without hearing they want to go on the boats and cycles :). I have been super busy with my daycare. I have 3 fulltime little girls and one parttime little girl now so it is pretty busy everyday. Luckily one of my daycare moms is home often and she goes with us to the library program and beach and things.

The kids have been involved in the library reading program this summer and its a blast for them. We go to Mighty minnows on Wednesday mornings and sing and dance and read stories. The boys just love it. We also pick out our prizes for the week and new books which they very much enjoy! Im glad my kids are so interested in reading!

The girls have both been playing softball this summer with Norwalk parks and rec. Isabelle has turned out to be quite the pitcher! Isabelles program is over for the summer but Olivias games are just starting, so that is keeping us busy also!

We just had Olivia's 6th birthday with Ry's parents last night and we plan to celebrate with my family on vacation. We had pizza and cupcakes and she got a new swimsuit, which she told me she needs to pack right away for vacation...lol!

Ryan has been super busy with work this summer. He is still the Assistant Chief of the Norwalk Fire Department but continues to fly as a flight paramedic on Mercy One, Mercy Hospitals helicopter. He also works part-time at Clark co. on the ambulance and emergency room crew. Most recently we was accepted into the DMACCs Mortuary Science program. The program begins in August and will keep him extra busy thru the winter and for the next year.

He also continues to enjoy his hunting and fishing of course! He shot a buck this last winter and I still have deer heads in my garage, which are disgusting by the way! We go to Branson and he does some fly fishing there also.

Speaking of Branson, we are headed for our family vacation this Friday the 23rd for 8 days and we can't wait! We plan on enjoying it as much as possible. The girls are super pumped and cant wait, they even have me packing already. Just hoping the drive works out with all the kids, wish us luck :)!
So I have decided to establish a blog to follow our family for those of you that are interested in our comings and goings. So here it goes :).
